Backcountry Trail Construction

Trail Location: Stowe, VT

 

Project Profile: Timber & Stone, LLC was contracted to complete a trail maintenance inventory of the Wiessner Woods trail system.

 

Additionally, two 25 foot bridges and 75 feet of puncheon boardwalk were constructed. 25 feet of elevated trail tread was installed using Eastern hemlock that was harvested on site.

 

The trail construction allows for yearound trail use by hikers, walkers, dog enthusiasts, and cross country skiers.
